Managers Control Panel
Once you register for your Managers Account, you will have access to the
backend of CityGuideSite.com. You must have started a City Guide Site
Free Trial or Active License to work with the features throughout the
Managers Control Panel. If so, you can select from a list of
City Guide Sites that you are currently managing to begin using any of
the features below.
The bottom left screenshot is the Navigational Menu for the Managers Control Panel.

View Statistics allows you to look at how many visitors you are
getting on a monthly and daily basis with a breakdown of the unique
count for your total City Guide Site, as well as each individual
page of your City Guide Site.

Themes /
Styles allows you to customize the color
scheme of your City Guide Site's appearance. You can change the
background color as well as the top menu links background and
font colors. Plus this feature is being expanded soon to offer
color options for other design aspects!

Top Menu
Design allows you to customize the Top Menu Links
that appear on your City Guide Site. You have the option of
selecting between two current designs. One that makes every tab
link a single color, while the other design allows for multiple
color tab links. Plus, you can set the number of links to appear
on each row. Finally, you can Add New Links, Edit Links, Remove Links and Order Links using the Move Up / Down
feature so they appear exactly as you want them to appear on
your site! |

Global
Content allows you to customize the content that
appears on every page of your City Guide Site such as the
Header, which appears at the top of every page. The Sub-Header
which appears just inside the main screen of your City Guide
Site, but still at the top above the Top Menu Links. The Footer which appears at the bottom of every page,
and finally you can provide Custom Meta Tags that search engines will use for indexing your City Guide
Site! |

Specific
Content works much in the same way as the Global
Content expect that the Specific Content Feature allows you to customize
specific pages or sections of your City Guide Site such as the
Home Page content, Account Registration Page content, Business
Listing Price Chart additional content, About Us Page content
and the Contact Us Page content. |

Category
Content allows you to add specific content to the
Category Pages of your City Guide Site. For instance, you can
add Global Category Content that will appear on every Category
Page at either the Top or Bottom (or Both) of your page. Also,
you can select Specific Categories to add content to only that
page, and not the rest of the Category System Pages. (View Extra Screenshot) |

Custom
Content allows you to add completely new pages to
your City Guide Site that contain your own content. You have the
option of using the default City Guide Site layout design to
place your content within or you can select the Full Design
Option which would allow you to completely add your own Full
HTML Webpage content.

Payment
Settings allows you to setup several ways to
collect payment for Business Listings and Marketplace Listing
fees that you charge to Businesses and Residents on your City
Guide Site that use either of these paid services based on the
price you set! The Payment Methods that you can setup to accept
directly through your City Guide Site include Credit Cards,
PayPal, Payment By Mail and any Custom Description you want to
include for other types of payment methods.

Miscellaneous Options currently allows you to
select whether or not you want the Account Login box to appear
above or below the Business Directory Featured Side Menu on your
City Guide Site. You can also currently select how you want your
Bronze, Silver and Gold Listings to appear on the Category Pages
by either Alphabetically or by Activation Date. |

Manage Listings allows you to do everything you
need to with your Business Listings! You can quickly get an
overview of how many listings you have on your City Guide Site.
See how many are Active, Pending, About to Renew or Past Due
along with Color Codes to quickly point out what you need to do
(See Screenshot To Left). Plus, you can click on a Business Name to get
a pop-up screen with the User Account Details, Listing Preview
and any Contact Details. Other options include the ability to
Add, Edit, Remove, Deactivate, Activate, Renew, Upgrade or

Listing Prices allows you to setup the price and length/terms you
want to charge Businesses to list a Bronze, Silver or Gold
Listing in one of your City Guide Sites. If you license more
than one City Guide Site and you have grouped your City Guide
Sites together for Cross-City Listing Options, then you can
setup the price here as well that a Business would pay to
Cross-City List their Business Listing into Additional City
Guide Sites that you own. |

Accounting System allows you to view Business
Listing Transactions by the Listing Term Period Start Date,
Renewal Date or Actual Payment Date of a Business Listing by
specifying the Search Type and Search Dates. Once again, you can
click on the Business Name to get a pop-up screen with the User
Account Details, Listing Preview and any Contact Details. You
also have the ability to Reverse Transactions or Add New
Payments if the Business pays you part upfront and the rest
later on. Finally, all updates will be reflected within the Account
Owners Control Panel at your actual City Guide Site in real-time! |

Featured Categories allows you to choose from the
11,000+ Categories in the system to feature specific categories
on the side of your City Guide Site pages for quick viewing. The
category system is identical to the SIC (Standard Industrial
Classification) coding system, but of course you do not have to
know the code to find what you are looking for! This feature not
only allows you to Add, Edit or Remove categories from the
Featured Menu, but it also gives you an overview of how many
Bronze, Silver and Gold listings appear in each featured
category. You will notice (See Screenshot To Left) that any
Featured Categories that do not contact any listings will appear
with a red background to let you know it can be removed. |

Featured Categories Continued! Another great aspect
of this feature is an Optimization Tool that shows you the Top
10 Categories that contain the most Business Listings that you
do not have Featured so that you can be sure to get them
Featured! As well as, an Optimization Tool that shows the Bottom
10 Categories that are Featured incase you want to remove them
to make your Featured Menu smaller without dropping big
categories. |

Category System allows you to setup Custom
Categories that you might not find in our Default Category
System of 11,000+ Categories such as a local Shopping Center or
a particular Popular Street in your area! Also, you can view the
entire Category System which will display the Top Categories
(Not Just Featured, but the Entire System) according to the
number of Business Listings within each Category, as well as
giving you the option of Adding Any Category to the Featured
Category Menu if it doesn't already exist there. |

Business Tools allows you to currently Edit Gold
Business Listing Coupons at a glance from your Managers Control
Panel. See which ones are about to expire and contact Businesses
to update their Coupons Expiration Date or replace it with a new
Coupon!

allows you to send out a mass email to all
Bronze Listing Contacts, Silver Listing Contacts or Gold Listing
Contacts with special announcements you need to make known to

Marketplace - Manage Settings allows you to turn
On/Off the Marketplace which allows anyone to Buy and Sell just
about anything directly on your City Guide Site. You also have
the option of turning On/Off the Global Listings, which if
turned On will display Marketplace Listings from all 38,000 City
Guide Sites on your actual City Guide Site. If Global Listings
is turned Off, then your City Guide Site will only display
Marketplace Listings placed directly on your City Guide Site. |

Marketplace - View Listings allows you to view all
of the Marketplace Listings that are placed directly on your
City Guide Site. You can also Edit or Remove Listings using this
feature. |

Marketplace - Listing Prices allows you to setup
Custom Pricing for any category along with the length of the
listings term. You can also setup pricing for additional
Marketplace Listing Add-Ons such as a Sub-Title, Gallery Image,
or making the Listing Appear on the Category page as either
Bold, having a Border, Highlighted, Category Page Featured,
Gallery Featured or even Home Page Featured. Additionally, you
can setup an Account Limit so that once it is reached the user
has to pay their account balance before placing any more
listings. Finally, you can setup Custom Pricing on a Per User
Basis for any fee type. This gives you the option of giving
particular users lower fees or even free listings. |

Marketplace - Accounting System allows you to send
out invoices by email to users over any balance that you
specify. You have the ability to update payments received for
any particular user account. Finally, you can search by date any
Fees or Payments that happen on your City Guide Site. |

Event Calendar allows you to turn On/Off an Event
Calendar that allows visitors to submit any type of event going
on in your area. You as the Manager must currently approve any
submissions before they will actually appear for public viewing,
as well as you can Edit or Remove any existing Calendar Events.
This is a great way to get your Community involved and increase
repeat visitors! |

Reseller Program allows you to turn On/Off a
Reseller Program for bringing in more Business Listings for your
City Guide Site by Resellers. You have the option of giving
Resellers a Commission Rate as well as giving the Business a
Discount Rate. The Reseller will be issued a unique ID and
Coupon Code, which a Business Owner must apply to their User
Account before Activating/Renewing/Upgrading their Business
Listing in order to qualify for the discount and give the
Reseller their commission. You also have the ability to view
individual Reseller Accounts, Update Reseller Payments and View
Reseller Statistics! |

Global Package consists of all the settings for your City
Guide Site such as Content, Menu Links, Theme / Style Colors, Payment Options, Additional Pages, Category Content, etc!
This feature comes in handy if you manage multiple City Guide
Sites and decide to have the same Content, Links, Colors,
Prices, etc on each City Guide Site. This way you can save time
by using the same Global Package on each City Guide Site. Then
any changes to one City Guide Site will automatically be
reflected on every other City Guide Site using that Global
Package. Otherwise, if you want each City Guide Site to be
different, then you can use the default separate Global Package
for each City Guide Site and give them each separate custom
settings! |

Image Directory allows you to upload images to your
Managers Account so that you can then use them on your City
Guide Site.
Domain Names allows you to setup one or more Domain
Names to point to your City Guide Site. Great for Search Engine
Marketing!
Email Addresses allows you to setup one or more Email
Addresses for each Domain Name you have setup on your City Guide
Site.
FTP Account allows you to upload your own files or images
to a specific directory for your Managers Account, which you may
then use as content on your City
