CityGuideSite.com ("CGS"), owned and operated by Slick Website
Development, Inc. ("SWD"), collectively referred to as ("SWD-CGS"), has established the following Guidelines to help
maximize the quality of and set forth the type of information,
products or services that
may be placed in any of the following areas of Your Managers Account
including, but not limited to, the Local City Guide Site Features, the Managers Forum, the Support Ticket System and the Suggestions
Feature, all of which are collectively referred to as the Managers
Control Panel ("MCP"). All
CGS Managers must comply with these Guidelines, in
addition to the City Guide Site Consolidated Terms of Service.
SWD-CGS, in its sole discretion, may remove any product or
service or information posted by You in the MCP that does not comply
with these Guidelines or any other applicable agreement or terms.
SWD-CGS reserves the right to change these Guidelines at any
time without notice.
Please help us maintain the quality of information placed on the
MCP. If You see a product or service or
information posted (e.g. forum thread, new suggestion, voting comment,
etc.) that violates our guidelines or terms, please complete the Contact Us form.
General Information
SWD-CGS provides the MCP as a platform for You to
edit Your Local City Guide Site, to discuss topics with other
Managers and CGS Support Staff, to suggest and vote on new features,
and to learn about various website development resources while placing
this information on the World Wide Web for Your use. CGS Managers
should be aware that:
- They are responsible for the appropriateness of information
placed through their MCP.
- They are responsible for trying to resolve any disputes that
may arise from the information, goods or services placed through their MCP.
- They are responsible for researching and complying with any
applicable laws, regulations or restrictions on information, or
manner of sale or exchange that may pertain to transactions in
which they participate through their MCP.
- They are responsible for all applicable taxes and for all costs
incurred by participating in the MCP.
General Rules
- Fraud. You may not use or manipulate this Service for any
fraudulent activity or purpose, including collecting payment from
other managers or customers on information, services or goods offered
through the MCP and not providing the
information, services or goods purchased.
- Interference. You may not spam our system and/or impose an
unreasonably or disproportionately large load on our system. You
may not put any material on Your MCP that contains any viruses,
trojan horses, worms, time bombs, cancelbots, or other computer
programming routines that may damage, interfere with,
surreptitiously intercept, or expropriate any system, data, or
personal information.
- Passwords. You are solely responsible for actions taken under
Your password and should not disclose it to anyone else. You cannot
use Your password for any unauthorized purpose.
Manager Guidelines
CGS
Managers must:
- Comply with applicable laws. You may not offer for sale or sell
a service, good or information to any other manager or customer in a jurisdiction
where it violates applicable laws or regulations.
- Provide accurate information. You must accurately describe Your
CGS License and ONLY the city or area You have Licensed to target
while dealing with Customers, Support and/or other Managers through
Your MCP.
You may not include any language in Your forum or suggestion
descriptions, including Your name or city, which may confuse Support or
other managers or cause Your CGS License to be included in
search results that don't accurately describe Your CGS License.
- Provide accurate contact information. You must provide an
accurate name, mailing address and email address on file within
Your MCP.
- Engage in ethical marketing practices: Managers must not
engage in practices that are in any way connected with the
transmission of "junk mail," "spam," "chain letters," unsolicited
advertising, or other unsolicited mass distribution of email.

- Avoid adding any information in Your MCP that is "adult
oriented" in nature or marketed in an objectionable manner, as
determined in SWD-CGS's sole discretion.
Information that is Prohibited by SWD-CGS
It is the responsibility of the Manager to ensure that the
information in Your MCP is appropriate for displaying under all
applicable laws and regulations. In addition, every MCP must be
consistent with SWD-CGS's policies, as determined in SWD-CGS's sole discretion.
SWD-CGS, expressly reserves the
right to, but has no duty to, reject or remove any information from
Your MCP in SWD-CGS's sole discretion.
Spam Policy
SWD-CGS explicitly forbids spamming. Prohibited spam or
otherwise impermissible marketing activities in Your MCP may include, but
are not limited to, the following:
- Sending mass email to recipients who haven't requested email
from You, and/or sending email with a fake return address
- Promoting through Your MCP with inappropriate links, titles,
descriptions, or use of any content for which You do not have the
appropriate rights.
- Promoting through Your MCP by posting multiple submissions in public
forums that are identical.
If You're not sure if something constitutes spam, please exercise
caution. SWD-CGS may take action, at our discretion, if we
believe Your MCP has engaged in impermissible marketing activities,
spamming, or other violations of these Guidelines or any other
applicable agreement or terms
Other Important Rules
- Other Rules Regarding Your MCP. Additional rules for Your MCP
may be posted at various places within Your MCP. SWD-CGS, in its sole
discretion, may change these rules without notice.
